The Boulevard Cruisers lost a good friend and member, Jim Odom, on December 3. Jim and his wife,
Mary were always there to help the club or club members in any way they could. From hauling the
trailer around for the shows to putting bikes together for Angel Tree, Jim could be counted on!
He will be missed. Please keep Mary in your prayers.
BOULEVARD CRUISERS CRUISE IN
WILL RESUME MARCH 26, 2016
CLUB MEETINGS WILL RESUME JANUARY 21, 2016
as November and December fall on the holidays.
The Club Christmas Party was a lot of fun again the year!
We had lots of food left over, as usual. Tim Burns and the Solid Gold
Band did a good job for us!
A big Thank you to Mickey and Sandy for putting on the party at their
Hot Rod Shop. They have to do a lot to convert it over for a party.
Thanks to all the guys that fried turkeys for us and all those that brought
food! Sorry if you missed it and I hope you will plan on attending next year.
The Angel Tree Run turned out well! We had several cars
participate, more than is shown here. The club has been helping
out with Angel Tree several years now. At first, we were one of a
very few organizations to help.
Luckily, since then, they have picked up a couple of different motorcycle groups plus all the
help from the businesses that place the Angel Trees out for their customers. They have been
able to expand their help from only children of prisoners to helping local children that would
have litte or no Christmas without them.
Thank you to all that came out to Wal-Mart and helped shop for the Angels the club provided
for. And thank you to all of you that brought toys and donated money to help the program.
Jane Manuel, that runs the program at First Baptist Church of Carriere, was very appreciative
for our help.
|WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!
