The Car Show that almost Wasn't turned out really well thanks to all those
that shared our posts, sent emails out and called their friends!
Despite the rain for days in advance and the chilling temps, we had 64 cars
entered.  Some really great friends and supporters from our neighboring clubs
bundled up and came on out.
Bobby grilled burgers and sausages for donation. It was the most popular spot
at the show!  Maybe, because it was the warmest.. just kidding Bobby!  The jar
held $134 by the end. Thanks, Bobby. Sybil, Rozie, Shannon, Dina, and Sandy
you girls did a great job as always! Thanks to you and all the guys that were
manning the gates, parking cars and keeping everything running smoothly.
Steve for the music and last but not least, thanks Mickey for getting everything
there and keeping it together. Almost forgot! Thanks Dale for the use of the
camper to supply power for the music and the coffee making operation.
Mr Will Bond did it again. I hardly remember how many times he has won Best
of Show with his 1967 GTO. Anthony Cacioppo won Best Paint with his 1956
Ford F100 and Jerry Buchicchio won Best Engine with his 1939 Ford
Convertible. Along with their plaques they were given some one-of-a-kind
trophies built by Ray Guzman and some of the guys at Mickey's shop, Detroit
The Misfits took the Club Participation Award.  We give, to the winning club,
$100 and they never fail to give it right back!
Here we see Kelly Vince helping to
hold up the Best of Show Award
he is presenting to Will Bond!
